We all love animals, especially those humorous, cheeky animals that instantly bring a smile to our faces. Self-taught artist Elinor Grieve specialises in painting these amusing and whimsical animals in her unique and characteristic style of colourful acrylics and pastels.
“I’m amazed by the response I’ve received in such a short period of time,” she told the Southern Voice. “I think it’s partially due to the humorous animals and bright colours, as cheeky art and animals tend to appeal to everybody, but there is also the fact that I’m dedicated to keeping my art affordable.”
It is for her natural talent and ability and her impressive collection of paintings that we at the Southern Voice have chosen to award Eli’s Art with our Artist of the Year award.
